Centre for the Observation and Modelling of Earthquakes and Tectonics

The Centre for the Observation and Modelling of Earthquakes and Tectonics (COMET) is a collaborative project funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)

COMET involves scientists from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and University College London. The COMET scientists use satellite observations to help them quantify seismic hazard and interpret how past environments control the distribution of natural resources.
